1) Wild's perform at Donna Karan 20th Anniversary party
************************************************************
Angela, Shark and Paul performed at the Donna Karan 20th Anniversary party in New York City Monday night.  It was at her new fancy store on Madison Avenue (Upper East Side).
The party was also to celebrate the release of the new photo book The Journey Of A Woman: 20 years of Donna Karan.

They were joined by Aaron on percussion and John on guitar, both from Angela's touring band.

Donna Karan introduced them saying she asked her friends who the hippest, most happening singer around today was, and they said Angela McCluskey.  (We've all known that for years.)

The songs performed were all covers, David Bowie's Lady Grinning Soul (Iman was at the party-but not David), She Moved Through The Fair/Famous Blue Raincoat (Leonard Cohen) and the Blue Niles' Tinseltown In The Rain.

We will have some photos from the gig up on the website soon.

2) Angela - REM dates
************************************************************
Angela is opening for R.E.M. on the North American leg of their 2004 tour. The dates are in Chicago, Boston, Atlantic City, Washington, DC and the closing night show in New York's Madison Square Garden.

R.E.M. has always chosen their support acts. Angela first met Michael Stipe and Mike Mills from R.E.M. when they came to a Wild Colonials show in Atlanta during the promotion of Fruit of Life.   In fact that year R.E.M. drummer Bill Berry picked the Wild's Fruit of Life as best album of the year in the R.E.M. fanclub newsletter.   These should be some memorable shows.

The dates are...
October 26 Chicago/Auditorium Theatre
October 29 Boston/Fleet Center
October 30 Atlantic City/Borgata
November 1 Washington DC/DAR Constitution Hall
November 4 New York/Madison Square Garden

Check local newspapers for ticket prices and info.
