The Wild Colonials are doing two co-headlining shows with the 10,000 Maniacs this Friday at the legendary Bottom Line club in New York. The shows are 7:30 PM and 10:30PM.

By now, everbody knows that Natalie Merchant has split with 10,000 Maniacs, but the founding guitarist/ songwriter, John Lombardo, has returned, bringing new singer/violinist Mary Ramsey into the fold. The result, as heard on "Earth Pressed Flat" (Bar None), is a return to the Maniacs' rootsy folk pop days before they broke with 1987's "In My Tribe."
