Dear Wild ones,

In this WildNotes we have a letter from Angela to you...

1) Letter from Angela

Dear Everybody,

I've been meaning to do this for many years - finally, to Thank You all for being such great and appreciative fans - always e-mailing, never complaining about our lack of (snail mail) newsletters, etc. This e-mailing thing has become the best way and quickest way to keep you informed of all our shows.

These last three months have been a whirlwind of music, driving, music and driving. All the way to Pittsburgh (where we got to #1 w/"Friend") in fact a highlight of this year was our show at the Andy Warhol Museum in June.

Also in New York, we played the Lincoln Center, invited by Cyndi Lauper (who's always been a big supporter), where the Colonials backed up Cyndi and Cassandra Wilson on a roots-rock version of "Time after Time".

For those of you I've talked to on the road from Philadelphia to Boise - You've asked a lot about our Internet only SOLO stuff, etc.

Here's the info:

Shark - Original soundtrack to "Dead Man's Curve" cool vibe!

Scott - "I Dream" - jazzy film-scorey stuff

Paul - "PointNoPoint" - Paul's beautiful Solo piano album. Wonderful!

Me with Tryptich - "Curio" - Some of our favorite songs done in a classical/jazz style.

All of these are available on our website, in the Discography/Solo section.

Please check it out.

To everybody we've just seen in Philly, Idaho, Seattle, Virginia, Pittsburgh, New York, Boston, Arlington - Thanks for coming out, to all who keep asking when we're coming back, well...

It's Up To You - call that local Radio Station and request Wild Colonials, you'd be surprised how much that helps.

To all of you who haven't seen us yet...

We're on our way,

We're on our way!

Love,

Angela
